Our mission is to provide advanced, customized, and superior care to patients with neurological disorders including, but not limited to, stroke, seizures, migraines, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and dementia. Our mission also includes early detection of neurological diseases and the management of risk factors for the development of these conditions. 

 

Our founding provider, Dr. Milan Sanghavi, has completed extensive and updated training in Neurology, Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine and has received board certification in all three areas. Dr. Sanghavi strives to educate interested patients about their disease processes and potentially harmful habits that may be contributing to their neurological condition. This belief in empowerment through education has been recognized with countless personal testimonials from patients and their families.

 

Dr. Sanghavi was recognized as the 2011 Healthcare Provider of the Year by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. 

 

Dr. Rashida Stevenson and Dr. Jo-Hsin Chen were added to the Mid-Atlantic Neurology family in September 2012. They are both Board Certified in Neurology and Neurophysiology.

 

In 2023, we merged with NeuroCare Center and welcomed in Dr. Richard Babkes, Dr. Laura Reaven, and Dr. Gena Romanow. Their unique skill sets and expertise have allowed us to be a comprehensive neurological center.

In 2025, we are happy to announce the addition of a new member to our group, Dr. Tamar Harel, who is fellowship trained in Multiple Sclerosis. Additionally, infusion services have been added to our Columbia location.
